First things first, the gas shock system can hold up to 16.5lbs monitors each, and you can move them around as you see fit. They will stay in place. While the arms might appear slim or thin, they actually hold well.

The clamp itself is pretty well thought out and can fit a desk up to 2” thick. You can even drill the desk if you want to add more stiffness, too. Amazon Basics does have a good selection of monitor arms, and the Premium model for two monitors is a surprisingly good choice. It’s versatile, it’s wallet-friendly, and it can hold up to 25lbs heavy monitors.

The arms themselves are side by side and elevate slightly from the large base. They can extend and retract, tilt and rotate, so you do have a pretty big range of adjustments. The clamp can fit up to a 2.4” desk, and the base is pretty large, which does add a bit of rigidity. It’s not going to move anywhere.

The stand comes with support for up to 15.5lbs and 32” in size on each arm, which is pretty good. The side arms extend quite a bit, which means mounting larger monitors here won’t be an issue. Overall, this is a very well-built monitor arm, especially when you factor in the price.

You’d be surprised at how much you’re getting for your money here, but ECHOGEAR’s Triple Monitor Stand is an incredibly well-made monitor arm that holds up to three monitors. The mount holds all three monitors at the same height, which does sacrifice a bit of adjustment, but it’s incredibly stiff.

Whether you set them up horizontally, or vertically, the monitors will stay aligned perfectly, and since there’s no gas spring and everything is screwed in together, you’ll get zero wobble. If you don’t have the stiffest desk out there, this is something you’ll definitely appreciate.

Overall, this might not win any adjustability awards, that’s for sure. However, if you’re looking to get a sturdy monitor arm that will let you set and forget your monitors, this is it. It’s wallet-friendly, it’s well made, and it’s overall the best monitor arm for simple people.
